The best order to watch the Star Wars saga is the Machete order. This happens to be Rod Hilton’s method taken from his blog No Machete Juggling.

The Machete order is as follows:

  1. Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace
  2. Star Wars: Episode 2 – Attack of the Clones
  3. Star Wars: Episode 5 – The Empire Strikes back
  4. Star Wars: Episode 6– Return of the Jedi
