The first review of Baahubali 2 movie is out & surprisingly it has come from a “member of the UK, UAE Censor Board”. Umair Sandhu, who calls himself a movie & fashion critic in the UK, UAE also India, has given the much-awaited movie a 5-star rating. He compared the CGI in Baahubali The Conclusion to “Hollywood greats” like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Sandhu gives perfect ratings to all actors in the film and is particularly awed by Prabhas who plays the main protagonist Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali in both the movies.
Sandhu gave a specific mention to Prabhas & Rana Daggubati for “some outstanding work” also says even Ramya Krishnan’s Sivagami leaves an impression. Clearly awed by the SS Rajamouli movie, Sandhu calls Baahubali 2 a “marvel” comparable to the best of Hollywood. In the small review written on his blog, he oohs including aahs about everything from the grandiose sets to the VFX, sound, edit and cinematography. There is a special remark in the review for the “beyond fantastic” screenplay of the review, and of course “mindblowing” story, screenplay, dialogues, music, and screenplay.

Sandhu has done many other “1st reviews” before owing to his geographic location. Here is his review of Baahubali 2…
“Making a film is no easy task and making one that boasts of being India’s costliest and grandest film till date on both budget and scale, definitely is a humongous challenge.
Talking about the CGI used in the film, BAAHUBALI 2 is easily comparable to the Hollywood greats like THE LORD OF THE RINGS series and even the HARRY POTTER series that featured entire towns, cities, and regions artificially developed to look realistic. Compared to the usual Indian standard of CGI work in films, the effort and detail that went into making BAAHUBALI 2 are visibly evident in the stunning waterfalls, the spectacular city of Mahishmati, and the sheer cliffs.
Coming to the performances in the film, the casting of BAAHUBALI 2 is just perfect with every actor doing a brilliant job in their respective roles. Here a special mention goes to both Prabhas and Rana, for some outstanding work, especially for Rana who excels in portraying the angry smoldering-eyed King Bhallala. Ramya Krishnan, despite being in a supporting role manages to leave an impact. The other two supporting cast members Nasser and Satyaraj as Bijjaladeva and Kattappa are impressive as well. No Indian storyteller comes close to what S.S. Rajamouli envisions and executes on screen.
Every sequence of BAAHUBALI 2 is a marvel that can easily be compared to the best of Hollywood. The grandiose sets, VFX, sound, edit, cinematography and most importantly, the screenplay of BAAHUBALI 2 is beyond fantastic. Mindblowing Story, Screenplay, Dialogues, Music & Screenplay.
Prabhas gave Career Best Performance ever. Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tammannah are Fantastic. Sathya raj is Outstanding! Good acting by all supporting actors.
On the whole, BAAHUBALI 2 makes you proud that an Indian filmmaker dared to dream big and accomplished it. BAAHUBALI 2 is definitely not to be missed. Call it a box-office blockbuster today, but tomorrow, it will be remembered as a classic.”
The CBFC Member told,
“Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is in every sense bigger than the first part of the film. The second part is longer than the first and is almost three hours. But not a moment sits heavily on the narrative. We haven’t cut a single frame, shot, or a word from the dialogue. There was not a single moment that we could eliminate. The action sequences are this time shot far more intricately and the special effects, especially in the war scenes are on par with what we’ve seen in the best Hollywood war epics from Richard Attenborough’s A Bridge Too Far to Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge.”
The CBFC source especially highlighted the fight scene between Baahubali & Bhallalla Deva (Prabhas & Rana Daggubati) also he described the scene as
“Heart-stopping, the two of them are like restless lions in a cage ready to pounce, but something keeps them from tearing apart each other, I can’t reveal what. Both the actors are equally impressive this time.”
